Terms and Conditions for 30-Day Test Ride of Bikes Purchased Online

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to test ride your bike for 30 days to ensure it meets your needs. By purchasing and participating in the 30-day test ride, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility
The 30-day test ride is available only for bikes purchased directly from BikeStation Ballater online store.
This offer is valid for new bikes only and not for used, refurbished, or clearance items.
The test ride is available only to customers who reside in the United Kingdom. Shipping and handling restrictions may apply.

2. Test Ride Period
The test ride period begins on the date the bike is delivered to the customer.
The test ride period lasts for 30 calendar days from the Test Ride Start Date.
If the customer decides to return the bike during the 30-day test ride period, the bike must be returned by the 30th day.

3. Condition of the Bike
The bike must be returned in the same condition as it was received, free from significant damage, alterations, or modifications.
Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor scratches, wear on tires, etc.) are acceptable, but the bike should not be returned with:
Broken or damaged parts
Serious frame damage
Modifications to the bike's structure, components, or accessories
Any bike showing signs of misuse or neglect (e.g., failure to properly maintain the bike, riding in hazardous conditions) will not be accepted for return.

4. Usage Limitations
The bike may be used for personal, recreational purposes only during the test ride period. Commercial use, including rental, delivery, or other business activities, is prohibited.
The bike must not be used in extreme conditions or for competitive racing, off-road activities (unless the bike is specifically designed for such use), or other activities that may cause undue stress to the bike.

5. Return Process
To initiate a return, the customer must contact BikeStation Ballater within the 30-day test ride period.
The bike must be returned to BikeStation Ballater in its original condition.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless otherwise stated or agreed upon by BikeStation Ballater.
A full refund will be issued once the returned bike is inspected and confirmed to be in the same condition as when it was delivered.

6. Refund and Charges
Refund Policy: If the bike is returned within the 30-day test ride period, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any non-refundable fees such as shipping and handling.
Non-Refundable Costs:
Any shipping costs paid at the time of purchase
Accessories, add-ons, or customizations not returned with the bike
Damage costs due to misuse or neglect during the test ride period

7. Damaged or Defective Bikes
If the bike is defective upon delivery, the customer must notify BikeStation Ballater within 7 days of receiving the bike.
In the case of manufacturing defects or shipping damage, BikeStation Ballater will cover the cost of return shipping and offer a replacement or full refund as appropriate.

8. Limitation of Liability
BikeStation Ballater is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damage to persons or property resulting from the use of the bike during the test ride period.
Customers are advised to wear appropriate safety gear and follow local laws and regulations while riding the bike.

9. Ownership
the customer pays full on the website on initial purchase.
If the customer does not return the bike within the 30-day test ride period, the bike will be considered sold and ownership will transfer to the customer.

10. Right to Modify or Terminate the Program
BikeStation Ballater reserves the right to modify, extend, or discontinue the 30-day test ride offer at any time, with prior notice, at its sole discretion.
Any changes to the terms will be communicated to customers in advance.
